Buttons/Polished Buttons, 20 Ecto-tokens, 5 Iron Bars, a Hammer, Mithril Axe,
Holy Symbol.
Recommended: Games Necklaces, Ectophial, Falador Teleports, Charged Amulets of Glory, if
possible Kharyll Teleport. |

Woodcutting xp, 1 Quest Point, Ava's device, and access to Ava's Shop which
sells Feathers, Iron Arrows, Steel Arrows, Iron Arrowtips and Steel Arrowtips. |
| Begin Quest: Speaking with Ava in
Draynor Manor. |
1. Head to Draynor Manor and speak with Ava (search bookcase to open a door
to get to her).
2. You need to get some undead chickens, so head to Port Phasmatys and talk
to Alice and then put on your Ghostspeak Amulet and talk to her husband, you
will then have to talk to Alice again and back and forth. Once done relaying
messages you will need to visit the witch to get an altered ghostspeak amulet
for Alice.
3. Go west till you come to the fence opening to Canafis and go north then
west off the road when you come to the broken bridge (you'll walk past some
mushrooms). The witch will need you to have a empty inventory spot as well as
ghostspeak in your inventory. She plucks a hair off you and makes a second
amulet for Alice and her husband. (Crone-made Amulet)
4. Head back to Alice and her husband and speak to her husband. You will hand
over the amulet to him. Talk to him again and see a cutscene.
5. Speak to him again and you can buy undead chicken for 10 ecto-tokens per
chicken, buy 2. Then head back to Draynor Manor to give to Ava.
6. She will thank you then have you talk to the witch in room north of hers
to make a magnet. She will ask for 5 iron bars, she makes a selected bar and
you now need to go to Rimmington south of Falador in the mining area and hit
the bar with a hammer while facing north.
7. Go back to Ava with the magnet. You will need some undead twigs, she tells
you to go out in the garden and try cutting some of those undead trees with a
mith ax or higher (they are along the path to the manor). You will not be able
to so go back and tell Ava and she will send you off to Tureal in Burthrope.
8. Head to Burthrope and speak to Turael. He says you need a Blessed Axe, if
you give him a mithril axe and a blessed holy symbol he will give you his.
Once you have those items you will get a Blessed Axe from Turael. Now go back
and try cutting the undead tree again. 1 twig is all you need.
9. Talk to Ava and she will say it took you long enough. Now look at the
notes to translate. Look at notes it will show a picture with green dots..
when you click on a green dot it turns it off basically.. so have them like
this: red, green, red, red, green, red, red, red, green
10. Once translated talk to Ava. You need hardleather and buttons (pickpoket
H.A.M Members). Polish the buttons, use with the plans. Talk to Ava for
Completed Quest.
A little Extra Info:
If your range is lower than
level 50, Ava's reward is an arrow-creating backpack called Ava's Attractor. The
undead chicken in it can attract lost, stray arrowheads with a magnet, add wood
from the undead twigs, and then finish the arrows using its own feathers. This
will give you an unending source of arrows. If you lose it, you can talk to Ava
for a new one, although it will cost you 999 gold.
If you are level 50
or higher ranged, the reward for the quest is the upgraded Ava's Accumulator. It
can collect up to Steel arrows. If you lose it, you can buy an Attractor for 999
gold, then you can upgrade it for 75 Steel arrows to an Accumulator. You need a
Ranged level of 50+ to use an Accumulator. You can not use it while wearing most
metallic chest armors, and you will need to move around a bit so that it can
scan the area for arrows. It is worn as a cape.
