Begin Quest: Signpost outside Canifis pub

1. Before we start, you will need a Ghostspeak amulet. If you have lost yours, then you can obtain a new one from Father Uhrney in Lumbridge Swamp

2. Travel northeast from the Slayer Master and enter the castle. Talk to the doctor that you will find in the central room; he will ask you some questions. Respond with: you are brain-dead, and like to dig. He will tell you to find some body parts for him.

3. Go to the back of the house and talk to the gardener (make sure you have Ghostspeak amulet on). Ask him what happened to his head and he will tell you how he came to loose it. Now walk south and enter the woods and talk to the gardener regularly and he will tell you where he died. Dig at his grave to retrieve his head, and now head back towards the doctor's castle.

4. Once there, you can go upstairs and search the bookshelves for two books: The Joy of Grave Digging and the Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques. Take both of them and read through them and you will get two amulets. Use them together and you will receive the star amulet. With this amulet, head east to the castle graveyard and use the amulet on the easternmost grave. You may now push it and enter the dungeon, this is where you will have to fight the monster.

5. Head northwest and kill a level 51 monster, it will drop a key that opens the door to the northwest. Climb up the ladder and dig the three graves to retrieve the arms, legs, and torso.

6. Go back to the pub in Canifis and ask the barman for something to eat. He will offer pickled brain; buy one and use it with the head you found earlier. Take all the body parts to the doctor. He will ask for five strings of thread and a needle. He will then need a silver conductor. Go back and ask the gardener for the key for the shed.

7. The shed is found a little north of the gardener. Search the cupboard to find the brush, and outside are some canes. Take three of these. Using your three bronze wires, attach the canes together and add the brush. You will now have a large brush.

8. Head back to the castle and go to the west fireplace upstairs. Use your brush on the fireplace and a conductor mould will fall down. You will need a furnace for this part; if you have done Ghosts Ahoy, then you can use the furnace there. If not, it's a long walk or a teleport to the nearest furnace. Make the conductor by using a silver bar on a furnace with the mould in your inventory.

9. Go back to the doctor and give him the conductor. He will want you to attach the conductor. Go through the south doors on the first floor, climb the ladder, and attach the conductor onto the rod.

10. Once done go back to the doctor and talk to him, he will explain how the creature came to life and that you need to kill it. He will give you a key to access the monster. Go back upstairs and use the key on the gate. The monster will tell a tale about the doctor and asks you to steal his ring. Simply pickpocket the doctor to complete the quest.
