Doric's Quest

Quest Name: Doric's Quest
Quest Type: Free to Play
Difficulty: Very Easy
Requirements: Level 15 Mining
What You Will Need: A Pickaxe
Reward: You will earn 1 Quest Point, 1300 mining xp, 180 gold pieces, and will now be allowed to use Doric’s Anvils.
Begin Quest: In Doric’s House, North of Falador

Beginning: To begin talk to Doric in his house northwest of Falador. Ask him if you can use his anvils and whetstone.

He will tell you to use his anvils he will need 6 clay, 4 copper ore, and 2 iron ore.

If you do not have a pickaxe at this point he will give you a bronze one.

Getting to the Ore: The fastest and best way to get to the ores he needs is to head back south along the road that led to his house. Instead of following the road all the way back to Falador continue following the road that goes east. As you walk you should notice a number of Dwarves and a busy city to your north on a mountain. You will need to go to the east side of the mountain before you can actually climb up and get to the middle. You should find a trapdoor in the crook of the eastern building. Climb down into the mine. Walk south from the entrance. You will see an offshoot that goes to the east but do not follow it. On the eastern wall of the main tunnel you will find copper, tin, and iron rocks. Mine the 4 copper and 2 iron here. When you have it continue south and you will find clay rocks. Mine the 6 clay you have here. When you are done retrace your steps to the beginning of the quest.

Ending the Quest: Talk to Doric again and give him the ores. He will be greatly appreciative and reward you for your services.
