Vodka (gnome Stronghold), Pineapple, A few ardougne teleports will be useful |

| Begin Quest: Taverly herblore shop, Sanfew |
1. Put on some climbing boots and talk to Sanfew , go to the Death
Plateau area and head up past the sherpa, go over the rocks and follow the path
and go right over some rocks. You will see a large troll called DAD rune past
him, you will come across a big circular hill that has many paths all around it.
Put protect from range on and run round to the other side of the hill, climb the
mountain 9watch out for thrower trolls) and enter the cave at the top.
2. Inside will be Eadgar (if not go and pickpocket the guard and release Eadgar
as in one of the other troll quests. Eadgar will send you to go and talk to the
troll chief inside the troll stronghold called burnt meat. Head east, you will
come across 6 or 7 trolls, run past them up some small stairs and then through
the entrance, this is the troll stronghold. Head south and go down he stairs,
here is burnt meat, he will say he wants a human stew before he says anything
about goutweed. Head back to Eadgar and tell him.
3. he will say that you need a parrot, head to Ardougne and go to the zoo, dice
you pineapple using the knife and then talk to the Pete the parrot ask
everything you can, then add the vodka to the pineapple chunks, use these in the
hatch and you will receive a drunk parrot. head back to Eadgar.
4. You will have to hide the parrot in the troll stronghold, to do this enter as
before, but instead use the east stairs and go to the dungeons, hide the parrot
under one of the racks and he will learn English. Speak to Eagar who will want
you get some dirty clothes.
5. head back to Sanfew, he will tell you see Tegid who is outside his shop
washing clothes. Speak to him and say that Sanfew wont be happy, take all items
with you and go back to Eadgar, he will tell you to retrieve the parrot.
6. go back and get the parrot from under the rack in the troll stronghold, go
back to Eadgar who will take all the items off of you, he will tell you about
the potion of truth, go outside and look for grass areas which are the troll
thistle, pick a piece and use it on a fire, crush it and then add the ranarr and
thistle to the vial. Speak to Eadgar again he will give you the fake human, give
the fake man to burnt meat and h will tell you where the key is, go to the back
of the small room and search the drawers until you get the key, now look around
and find the stairs, they shouldn't be very far away, go down them.
7.This is the hard bit of the quest it may take a few attempts but shouldn't
take long to figure out, you have to avoid being seen by the trolls until you
have the Goutweed, the troll stood near the weed doesn't notice you, so no need
to worry about him too much. Once have sneaked around and got the Goutweed you
can return to Sanfew and complete the quest. |
