Begin Quest: The bookcase in Seers Village. It should be southwest of the bank.

1. First you need to search the Bookcase to find the "Battered Book". First read the book, then stab it with your knife or sword, and you will receive a key.

2. Now go north to the building with the anvils in it. You should see an "Odd looking wall".

3. Use your key with the wall and walk down the stairs. Now head to where the earth elements are and mine the rock. You should be attacked by a monster, so kill it and pick up the ore.

4. Now head back to the center. From there head north to the valves; you should be with water elements.

5. Now you must follow this order for the following to work. Turn the LEFT valve then the RIGHT valve. Now pull the lever and water should be running.

6. Now we use that thread, needle, and leather. We head to the bellow and then just click ?Fix Bellows?.

7. Now search the crates for A Stone Bowl. Keep this and head down the South Passage to the furnace.

8. Use the Stone Bowl with the lava. Now use that with the furnace to heat it up. Head back to the bellows for the next step.

9. When you reach the bellows pull the switch and head back to the furnace. Use you element ore/s with the furnace, and voila! You have an Element Bar.

10. Now you must have the battered book to do this next step. Use the element bar on the workbench; if you don't have the book it will just say "You need instructions".
