| What You Will Need: 100gp, Raw Sardine, (Read more in our Fishing Guide), and a Bucket of Milk (Milk a Dairy Cow while having a bucket in your backpack) |
| Reward: 1 Quest Point, kitten, 1525 Cooking XP, Chocolate Cake, Bowl of Stew. |
| Begin Quest: Go to Gertrude who is south of juliet's house |
1. Go to Gertrude who is south of juliet's house. [ Map ] Then she will tell you that she lost her cat. Now, agree to help her find it. She will tell you that Shilop and Wilough saw the cat last.

2. Go behind her house and grab a doogle leaf. Use it on the sardine, now you have a seasoned sardine. |
3. Now, go to the Varrock fountain and talk to either Shilop or Wilough. They will tell you that they saw the cat in their "secret hiding place". They won't tell you unless you give them 100 gp, so give them it and then they will tell you to go to the Lumber yard, east of the Jolly boar inn. [ Map ]

4. Now, go to the Lumber Yard and climb over the broken fence. Go north till you find a ladder, go up it. You now found gertrude's cat! Try to pick it up, it will hit 3 damage on you. |
5. The cat is thirsty so give it some milk. |
6. Try to pick it up again, it will scrath you again because the cat is hungry. Give it the seasoned sardine. |
7. Try to pick up the cat, then you'll find out that the cat won't leave unless it has its kitten. |
8. Climb down the ladder and search all the crates and barrels until you find the kitten. Head back to the cat. Use the kitten on Gertrude's cat. The cat will run home. |
9. Go back to Gertrude, she will give you the reward. |
