Magic

Introduction

Magic is one of the seven components that makes up Combat. It is also a great skill for a pure character and a pKer. There are several types of spells such as teleport or attack spells. Magic is basically useless at low levels, but becomes effective with money making and pKing at higher levels. At level 55 you can do High Alchemy, which gives Magic xp and turns items into gp. You can use high level Magic or Ancient Magicks to become an effective pKer.

Lunar Magic

You will be able to use Lunar Magic when you complete the Lunar Diplomacy Quest. To change your spell book, you need to pray at the Astral altar. To change the spell book back to normal, you simply need to pray again at that same altar. There are no battle spells in the Lunar Magic book, mainly teleportation spells.

Ancient Magicks

You will be able to use Ancient Magicks when you complete the Desert Treasure Quest. To change your spell book, you need to pray at a special altar of the pyramid from the quest. To change the spell book back to normal, you simply need to pray again at that same altar. The Burst and Barrage spells will, in a multi-combat area, hit all the squares surrounding the person that you attacked.
