| Begin Quest: Speaking with Effingy |
To start the quest, talk to Effigy:
After that talk to Bonafido:
You need to get a builders suit. To get this you need to talk and pickpocket the
builders.
First you need to go to 'The Guns'. He wants you to get him some cheap bear from
Yanille in exchange for his shirt. Give him the beer and he'll give you his
shirt.
After you got the shirt, you need to get the boots. You will need to talk to 'No
Fingers' first, or else you'll only pickpocket triangle sandwiches. Pickpocket
him after you talked to him.
Now you got the shirt and the boots, it's time for the trousers now. To get the
trousers you need to talk to 'Gummy'. After that go to the south-east of the
tower and search the plants there. You need to search this plant to get the
trousers:
To get in the helmet you need to talk to 'Black-eye'. You will need to answer
some questions about the Construction Skill.
1st answer: Three.
2nd answer: Torn Curtains.
3rd answer: 10 Clay pieces.
He will now give you a spare helmet from a guy that died.
You now have the full outfit:
To get in the tower you will need to answer a few other questions.
1st: Tea
2nd: Whistle for attention
3rd: Your legs are getting a bit cold
4th: Carry on, it'll fix itself.
You now have permission to get in the tower!
The next part is a part where you need to fix some things. Search the crates on
the entry ground to find the following parts:
1st part of the machinery:
6 Rivets,
4 Pipes,
5 Metal Rings,
2nd part:
5 Metal Bars,
4 Bottles of Binding Fluid,
3rd part:
4 Colored Balls,
3 Metal Sheetings,
4 Valve Wheels.
You will need to do some sort of minigame.
Machine part 1:
This one is one the floor when you go up 2 stairs.
You will need to connect pipes.
Part 1 complete!
Machine part 2:
This part is located on the top floor.
You will need to repair some pipes here.
For this part:
You will need 2 length 2 bars horizontal and 1 2 length bar vertical.
For this part:
You will need 1 2 length vertical bar and 1 2 length horizontal bar and 1 3
length horizontal bar.
For this part:
You will need 1 2 length vertical bar and 1 4 length vertical bar and 1 2 length
horizontal bar.
For this part:
You will need 1 4 length horizontal bar and 1 2 length vertical bar and 1 3
length vertical bar.
Part 2 complete!
3rd part machine:
On the first floor.
For pipe 4:
You will need to do the right lever down, by doing this you can move the most
right valve. Turn it right 3 times and then 1 time left. Leak fixed!
Fill the pipe with water now.
For pipe 3:
You will need both levers up. Then move valve 3 3 times right and 1 time left.
Leak fixed! Fill the pipe with water now.
For pipe 2:
Turn the 1st lever down. Then move the 2nd valve 2 time to the left. Leak fixed!
Fill the pipe with water now.
For pipe 1:
You will need to have the 2nd lever down. Then move the valve 2 times to the
left. Leak fixed! Fill the pipe with water now.
After you completed this, go talk to Effigy and you will need to go upstairs
again. You will now see a cutscene. After that run downstairs. Go outside and
talk to Effigy again. He tells you to go upstairs again to talk to the
Homonculus. Just answer what you want and after that go downstairs. After that
go out and talk to Effigy again. You will need to go to the dungeon in the
tower. Talk to Homunculus to complete the quest!
