Varrock
Varrock is one of the main cities in Runescape because it is really big and
contains many shops and places to go. This is usually the first big city that
new players come to and the first one with a bank. In the center of Varrock is a
big fountain. It is a perfect spot to meet people because there are always many
people swarming around it.
Varrock is a great
trading spot with many stores and two banks. The is a bank in the east, and a
bank in the west. The shops that are there are the: Sword Shop, Clothes Shop,
Magic Staff Shop, Range Shop, General Shop, Fancy Dress Shop, Chainmail Shop and
the Magic Shop. Audbury can teleport you to the rune essence. This is the
closest spot to a bank in the whole world!!! He also sells some very nice runes.
The other half of Varrock
contains the castle. Behind the castle is three yew trees, which you can usually
find many people by. The castle doesn't really serve any purpose, except that
you start the Shield of Arrav quest with King Roald.
